Her Brush

Her Brush

See her brush
as it moves, swiftly across the paper

Sliding with such charm
from place to place
filling the paper
with so much grace

Twisting and turning
as the picture unfolds
whirling and twirling
is the brush she holds

Mixing the colours
in her own way
a fine one indeed
on her paper she lay

Each colour appears
as her elegant brush, touches the paper

colour after colour
she now sets free
slowly revealing
an enchanting beauty.

Dedicated to my sister Fatima who love to draw and paint. I think you are really good at
it and wish you many more successful paintings in the future.

What a lovely tribute to your dear sister! I've often thought of painting or sketching myself, after all, it's just another means of expressing oneself if poetry isn't working... God bless, Keith

Maryam put a period at the end of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd first verse.Line 3& 4 verse 4 / Flies 'cross the paper, with an elegant touch. The poem is rhyming Maryam with the 2nd and 4th lines having end rhyme. EXCELLENT tribute to a dear sister. Light & Love Debbie Guzzi PS Little Nell is to my sister Janet

I love the brush moving throughout the piece. This is a moving piece because it was written with so much affection. The love is captured throughout.
