Helpless
sleepless nights
wakeless mornings
thoughtless trance
Although my body moves along
my mind remains fixated
on the epitome of pulchritude
Perpetual dominance of my thoughts;
The longer we are apart,
The more my mind slowly rots
You’ve captivated more than just my heart
You took my mind and my soul
Without you, I will never be whole
I know I should progress
but my mind only lets me regress
back into this helpless state
unable to think of anything else
