Helping Them With Theories
Let’s wrap her in tar, they say.
Maybe tar will fix it.
It doesn’t.
Let’s hang her by her waist from an oak tree
And pelt her with nerf balls.
That might fix her.
I am getting tired of their silly ways,
But I had volunteered for this experiment
So here I stay.
Let’s put some leeches on her, one suggests.
I have never had leeches, so I sit still for one.
But not another.
These practicing psychiatrists are irritating me now.
Just because they have to develop theories,
does not mean I have to be their guinea pig.
