I'm sitting here....
As the sun streams through the window..
My thought's have turned to you again...
I miss you so.......
The very thought of you...
That distinctive perfume scenting my days...
I count the hours...
That travel long into the night...
I need to hold you in my arms..
I need to see that beautiful face...
This hardened,wrinkly worldly face..
Gnarled by life's adventures..
and a few misadventures...
My eyes see into your soul....
and find a special gift..
A angel in a human form...
Your heart so big..
and full of giving never saying No..
Faith,Hope and Charity..
Were never a match for you..
I loved you every minute of every special day..
I loved you with my weak,pathetic heart..
I loved the way you put your hand in mine..
I loved the way you looked at me...
I loved the way we lay together...
the sun's not streaming through the window..
Dark clouds are blowing by..
But I won't sigh....
I miss you so much I could cry..
But high above my love she flies..
Like a butterfly in the sky..
Dancing with clouds...
Watching angels having fun..
Touching me with that loving smile.....
