Hell As It Is

I can no longer lie or pretend:
I went crazy going down the stairs
And each step conveyed something insane
They were like Dante's Inferno images
The circles that circle the end
Right there in every step below
And in the last one there was you and the garbage
That to this day I can't recycle very well
