Heed the River's Flow
As the day awakens
waving to and fro
palm trees sway to greet the dawn
urging me to grow
Come outside and be as one
open up your mind
giving way to sight and sound
just what might you find
Every buzz of every bee
every whistle of a bird
sings of harmony delight
speaking not a single word
Am I then to find my place
blessed by nature’s call to be
joining skyways steeped in blue
can I be just really me
As the day awakens
one thing I do know
I was meant to see the sun
heed the rivers flow
