Heavens Metals

Like a Golden Centaur One Step I Aspire High,
45 on the Vert, from Earth to Heaven I Rise,

Never Complacent, Swift Be Thy Soles,
Swift Be Thy Illumined Soul,

Upright Be Thy Lucid Bow,
Up High like Djed Pillars, where Heavens Metals Forge,

the Gold Illumined Dross,
now I march up the High Road tramping with Thy High Spirit Horse

The paired lines give the poem a rhythmic sense of ascent, while the golden centaur, lucid bow and Djed pillars lend its spiritual journey a vivid, mythic character. The closing spirit horse carries that upward momentum into a stirring finish.
