Heavenly Splendor

Wounded, bleeding, dying in utter anguish Downcast, burdened, constantly second guessing Seraph’s heartbeat rhythmically wakens visions Longing for heaven Sunshine, laughter, beautiful running fountains Nature, beaming, showing her outer garment Children, lovers, cherubs and seraphs singing Heavenly splendor Eileen Manassian Ghali For Craig Cornish's Sapphic Stanza Contest 20/10/03

The two sides of the coin named life! If one is eliminated the other vanishes at the same time. What an irony! Tossing the coin the work of fate is, we just pray to be lucky as the side we desire to come up! Deeply philosophical! Good luck!

My dear poet...Thank you for your lovely post and thoughts...It is grace that makes us able to taste the better side of the coin...GRACE...His amazing grace of which we are so undeserving. I'm so glad to have this visit by you! :) Filakia

Powerful & poignant. A longing for that innocence to overcome the mistakes of old. One day, I hope, humanity will become powerful enough to apply our only power (choice) to remove the weights, the burdens, and not just reach for the stars, but become it. Awesome.

Thank you, Drake..Lovely post...We, on our own, can't do anything about this....It's a gift. Given by the Father of lights to those who acknowledge Him as the giver of free choice, the giver of live, and every good thing. It's real...It's literal.....I hope, by His grace, I can see it one day....Thanks for the lovely words....
