Heaven Will Glow

Oh how my spirit is groaning And the tension round about me is mounting It is the feelings that you get when you Passion is running high and you want to leap and touch the sky I want to reach out and touch someone But the breezy evening is propelling me along With my hands clasps and my eyes close I can see you standing behind the door I have been on the go for many years And your presence is drawing me near And when my Adrenalin is flowing And my energy is rolling I will shake The dust from underneath my feet And wait until the battle is complete The weather is tossing to and fro The skies are getting dark and low And the wind is prowling around like a shark It is Saturday and my courage is baking The scent of jerk chicken is floating in air And there is no more courage to spare I can feel something cooking And I see my destiny stirring I have been held bondage on this island For many months and I just could not have fun The music is playing from all sides Stirring nerves, disturbing sleep And sending me out into the street It is searching for a passion that is very deep I care; but you don’t care Dear to touch me, dear to hold me Dear to control, me dear to hurt me If I knew what I was fighting for I would have gotten my break through Every day the scene keep changing And the story keeps growing I find myself in the middle of it yet I am not a part of it I am surrounding by people from every side While they try to take me for a ride No one wants to tell me what is going on I have been riding and floating on unknown waves for too long And I have been anticipating your coming for many days One crew comes and go and every crew that comes In town is wearing a different gown Now I know that the heavens will glow When the devil surrenders and goes. The night sky is falling and my spirit is burning I have searched the universe far and near But the thing that I am looking for is not there The lime and the light the spirit and the flight Sometimes it feels like a deja vu And I analyze it through and through I want to reach out and touch someone because I am hoping to reach the promise land Something is making my heart troubled But hope is making it feel like a doubled If anyone had told me that it would be so I would have gotten up and go I have been trying to go since I got here But everywhere I turn I am surrounded But the Gods have finally heard my innate cry And they are positioned to pull me through the sky I am waiting for you to take me home The people will celebrate When heavens open the big gate The battle will be complete When victory march through the street
