There's a heaven. There's a hell Good or bad. Easy to tell Exactly which way you are going From the actions you are showing. But is there a place to be When it's getting hard to see If the way you have been living Is complicated and not giving Any clues in which direction Your life choices will be sending Your soul inside--will it glow With shiny wings and halo Or punished with horns and a tail When badness caused you to fail To live neighborly and kind Now it's too late to rewind What happens if its fifty-fifty Your kind but a little shifty Leaving halos/tails --- horns/wings A strange feeling is the thing That makes you wonder if there is A place for people just like this Somewhere that is in-between If you are both nice and mean
