Heaven
What is worse
a golden calf in the valley
or reindeer in the sky
I thank God for my heaven every day
while others wait
as if death were a key
come and love in heaven
like me
or die and fade away
thinking the grave will set you free
the illusion that the living breath
and that dead souls get up and leave
heaven is for the living that believe
and the longer they live
the more they see
truly, there will be a resurrection
until then we must prepare ourselves to be
a child of love, mercy, and charity
well practiced in the ways of the lord
full of humility, grace, and peace
for the king is coming to earth
to reclaim the land for his meek
the proud will be cast out into utter darkness
along with their spirits of coveting and greed
yes, the end of their world is coming
and who is going to be saved
if not those who worship the words
accepted and spoken in his glorious name
the son of man is coming to prepare this earth
for the presence of the head of days
the Lord of spirits, his Majesty,
the Creator of all things
the fiery and all powerful
God almighty
