Heatwave
Holy macaroni and cheese!
The temperature is like 100 degrees.
Everyone is sweating and trying to adjust
To the heat, humidity, and must.
Any relief would be necessary.
How about some vanilla ice cream with a cherry?
Tea with ice sounds really nice,
But it won't be complete without a lemon slice.
Water is the best thing to keep you cool;
You can either drink it or swim in a pool.
Another groovy idea would be
Relaxing in a hammock underneath the palm tree.
Vacationing in the summertime
Is about having fun. Is that a crime?
Easy does it, y'all! Be extremely cautious.
This weather could make you sick and nauseous.
Whatever you do, you better behave,
And hopefully you won't melt in this heatwave.
