Heat of the Moment

You whisper in my ear A cold wind sweeps through my body But soon I become warmed By your heated embrace The sweet scent of your breath Your lips on my neck Your arms around me Holding me hostage You tell me you love me You say you want me You kiss my cheek Burning passion through my skin I lean up to kiss your face But you release your embrace Nothing but darkness Your love is nothing but a dream
