Hearty At 40

Hearty at 40
(A poem dedicated to the love I lost)

1, 2, there’s me and you,
3, 4, to the sky, let us soar.
5, 6, your broken heart, I’ll fix,
7, 8, say yes, don’t make me wait.

9, 10, you’re Barbie, I’m Ken,
11, 12, 13, such beauty I’ve never seen.
14, 15, to my shoulders you can lean,
16, 17, 18, be with me, my queen.

19, 20, my Aphrodite,
21, 22, do you love me too?
23, 24, only you I adore,
25, 26, 27, can you take me to heaven?

28, 29, I am yours, you are mine,
30, 31, 32, we will make it through.
33, 34, 35, I’m happy and alive,
36, 37, 38, a promise bound by fate.

39, 40, I love you, my Hearty,
If you ask me why, reasons I won’t deny.
Don’t mind what they say, together day by day,
My feelings are sincere, so baby have no fear.
