Hearts Shadows
Broken heart black with grief casting shadows
Teal tears grabbing wrinkled cheek as if life lines save souls
Precious memory of good weighing the bad
deciding to sing the blues
Bloody blasphemy!
How dare you put less value on the grim events!
Without them time has no measure of merit
Gold and silver mean nothing to the pigs
Who love the dirt of the earth
Still caress pain as a power to persevere
Defy the odds despite the dark clouds of this day.
