A short delivery, yet it teems with emotional meaning, Susan. I love short forms; they are challenging in a positive way, and you are adapting to them like a fish to water :) Warm regards & hugs, my friend. // paul

Thank you, Paul. Your wonderful comments are uplifting and inspire me to continue reaching ever higher in my poetic journey. Yes, I enjoy the positive challenge of short forms because of my natural verbosity.. and my admiration for your gift for brevity stirs me to explore these forms more readily. You are a guiding light, my dear friend. Warmest wishes and hugs always.. ~Susan

Six words = six million feelings, dear Susan! The capture/release contrast conjures images of freedom from bondage of any nature, be it physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, even something as common as writer's block. Imagination is one of my favorite words, and here it lovingly throws a lasso around those elusive emotions. Expression rides in on a white charger and sets free the emotions of the heart with its carefully chosen words. A FAV for me, dear poetry sis, and my sincere gratitude for sharing this mini masterpiece. Brava! Warmly, John

I like this one. If a person doesn't know the other's feelings there is no way the two can get together. I wonder if youth today keep emotions secret? Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara
