Hearts Image

The years have followed 
though we stay young in our minds 
My eyes still see you, 
Through the shadings of my heart, 
as you were when we first met 

I gaze into your eyes 
See my aged reflection. 
What would I look like 
If I could see through your eyes 
the image you hold of me
