Heartless

Far beyond the ability to love
and to deep in the selfpity to forgive
I shudder at the thought you may be my boss
or even my pastor
you smile and fake
and put on airs for my sake
I regret you lost your heart
but mine is big enough for us both
life is sweet and sour
and full of twists till the last hour
for life can be dark its a road i gladly take
to live this life heartless is a mistake
