Heartbroken
Exactly what does it cost to dwell among the elite?
How much will you give, to have gold under your feet?
Do you blindly follow, everything that you read?
Do you demand an audience, just to watch you bleed?
Will you look down on others, if they are not on your path?
Have you ever passed judgement, while dictating God’s wrath?
Did Jesus just die for you and leave your enemies in the cold?
What makes you special, and why is your stand so bold?
Do you prey on the weak and offer shelter under your wing?
Have you ever stood on a pulpit, praying others will hear you sing?
How many rocks have you thrown out into the masses?
Do you actually love your neighbor, or do you just offer the classes?
Be careful of what you believe from a man written book.
You can see with your heart, just stop and take a look.
Practice what you preach, before you are among the dearly departed.
Listen when he speaks and don’t leave him broken hearted.
