Heartbroken
i am missing the guidance
from the man i need the most
there’s no sense of direction,
is it truly going to be okay?
i need a hand,
yours was absent.
i’m feeling like the world is collapsing onto me.
i can’t breathe while i’m waiting for you to swoop in and save me.
where are you?
you said you’d pick me up when i was down but
you pushed me into the ground.
feeling hurt,
feeling lost,
i need you to talk to.
but i’m talking to a ghost.
where are you?
you said you’d be there for me.
to be a parent, to be a guide, to be on my team.
now i fall asleep alone,
because we don’t talk anymore.
you left me alone when i had no one left.
it’s just me now,
and i guess that’s it.
