Heartbreak
In the abyss of my soul, a chasm lies,
Where echoes of your love once whispered sweet sighs.
Hey love, how are you? A question that haunts my mind,
As I wander, lost, in this desolate land of heart and time.
The pain within me swells, a tempest raging free,
Tears fall like autumn rain, a deluge of misery.
Day and night, I'm consumed by thoughts of you,
Wondering if I'll ever behold your face anew.
My mind is a maze, a labyrinth of what-ifs and whys,
Where shadows of doubt creep, and fears arise.
I replay our moments, our laughter, our tears,
Searching for the moment when love disappeared through the years.
You left without a word, a whispered goodbye,
Leaving me with shattered dreams, and a heart that's lost its sigh.
I'm left to pick up the pieces, to mend the tears,
But how can I repair the fabric of my soul, when you're not here?
The memories of our love, a bittersweet refrain,
Echoes of joy, now taunt me, a heart in pain.
We once shared our deepest secrets, our hopes, our fears,
But now, silence hangs between us, like a specter, a thousand years.
I try to recall the love we shared, the promises you made,
But like sand between my fingers, it slips away, a fleeting shade.
Was I not enough? Was I just a moment's whim?
A fleeting fancy, a love that wasn't meant to be within?
The weight of your absence crushes me, a burden I bear,
A heart torn asunder, a soul that's lost its way, its care.
I'm a shadow of my former self, a mere specter of love,
A heart that's broken, shattered, and bruised, sent from above.
In this darkness, I'm searching for a glimmer of light,
A beacon to guide me, through the endless night.
But like a mirage, it vanishes, leaving me more forlorn,
A heart that's lost, a soul that's torn.
Is this the end of love? Is this the final goodbye?
A farewell to the dreams, the hopes, the love that we once knew why?
I'm left to ponder, to wonder, to weep and to mourn,
For the love we had, for the love that's lost, for the heart that's torn.
In the silence, I hear your voice, a whispered goodbye,
A final farewell, a love that's died.
I'm left to pick up the pieces, to mend the tears,
But how can I repair the fabric of my soul, when you're not here?
