Heartache Takes a Holiday

You slay me all the way to yesterday When we confessed our hearts in trust. Thinking about tomorrow and your Forever ways. What is to become of us? I want so disparately to send Heartache on a holiday. I know this sounds cliché but I love You more than I love the sun kissed sky. I know you love me too. I saw it in your eyes last July. This time, despite our hearts contrite, It's right I'm thinking of your heavenly face as I lay Soaking up the moon spellbound by my own Yearning I'm learning not to submit To this pain I've found. My heart wants me to trust that you Will satisfy my appetite. I am love stricken without a sound I fall down soundlessly delirious I recognize nothing except your eyes Pools of desire I want all of you those lips A simple sip, the pain subsides I'm wishing on every star tonight Where destiny hides. I love you beyond the heartache Reminiscing as it takes a holiday. Do you remember how we touched? A ravenous appetite between us Remember the RUSH? Snowy days? Blossoms in May? Stay until December, STAY? Do you remember my whispers? I'll never forget your gentle finger tips. Your hand on my face How could I forget that place?
