Heart Truth
My heart talks to me
It is feeble and weak
The little that’s left of it
I have given my heart
In bits and parts.
My heart listens to me
It hears my wish
Its now party to this
It pulls me along
But warns of sounds of heartbreak.
My heart sees what I see
Being kind to humanity
Like waves lash the shore
Love returns once more
I hope it’s here to stay.
