HEART THAT WORSHIPS THE LORD, THE GREAT GOD
Our heart worships the LORD, the great God of our divine longing
Ever filling us with His goodness of no delaying
So generous is His providing
For our constant joyful praising.
Our heart worships the LORD, the great God of our spiritual desires
Ever keeping us within His revival fires
So blissful is His comfort of Biblical song lyres
For our rejuvenated strength-tires.
Our heart worships the LORD, the great God of our Scriptural Christianity
Ever guarding us by His authority
So upholding is His leadership’s sovereignty
For our surrendered submission of utmost humility.
Our heart worships the LORD, the great God of our prayer-filled requests
Ever answering us along His very best toward triumphant crests
So wonderful is His plan for us midst trials and tests
For our dependent trust in His Word against doubt-pests.
Our heart worships the LORD, the great God of our welfare’s needs
Ever giving us with His bounty that completely feeds
So gracious is His sufficiency along His merciful deeds
For our faithful service as we sow His Gospel of truth seeds.
Our heart worships the LORD, the great God of our faith’s effectiveness
Ever molding us for ministry-usefulness
So marvelous is His training-teaching steadfastness
For our powerful worship, exalting His name of gloriousness.
Our heart worships the LORD, the great God of our productive stewardship
Ever enclosing us around His fellowship
So awesome is His friendship with His reaching-out relationship
For our grateful attitude while engaged in His discipleship.
