HEART THAT TRUSTS THE LORD WHO PERFORMS HIS WORD
Our heart trusts the Lord Who performs His Word toward our diligence
Ever regarding our earnest obedience
While forgiving our confessed impudence and impatience
Every time we come to Him for His revival prevalence.
Our heart trusts the Lord Who performs His Word toward our fervency
Ever upholding our faith’s persistency
While correcting our acknowledged laxity and leniency
Every time we come to Him for His mercy.
Our heart trusts the Lord Who performs His Word toward our good work’s feature
Ever rewarding our service-gesture
While recompensing our sacrifice of submission-posture
Every time we labour through His strengthening nurture.
Our heart trusts the Lord Who performs His Word toward our steadfastness
Ever blessing our prayerfulness
While attending to our fruitfulness along faithfulness
Every time we depend on Him for His helpfulness.
Our heart trusts the Lord Who performs His Word toward our commitment
Ever equipping our ministry involvement
While enabling our dedication’s achievement
Every time we rely on Him for His empowerment.
Our heart trusts the Lord Who performs His Word toward our fruit-bearing
Ever satisfying our productiveness’ rearing
While increasing our soulwinning harvest with love’s caring
Every time we beseech Him for His gearing.
Our heart trusts the Lord Who performs His Word toward our worship-delight
Ever propelling our church-engagement plight
While letting our spiritual growth level up to greater height
Every time we serve Him along His victory-might.
