HEART THAT TESTIFIES ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS WROUGHT TOWARD US
Our heart testifies about what God has wrought toward us with His divine healing
By His salvation for our soul redemption’s sealing
Indeed, making us whole from sin-afflictive spoiling
For spiritual endeavour of gracious dealing.
Our heart testifies about what God has wrought toward us with His tender mercy
By His correction against our laxity and complacency
Indeed, disciplining us from indolence-persistency
For fruitful service of diligent fervency.
Our heart testifies about what God has wrought toward us with His ready assistance
By His help despite our soul stubbornness and resistance
Indeed, reaching out to us from transgression-distance
For sweet relationship of committed stance.
Our heart testifies about what God has wrought toward us with His gentle compassion
By His love midst our apathy and transgression
Indeed, forgiving us from complaint-reaction
For joyful worship of grateful satisfaction.
Our heart testifies about what God has wrought toward us with His good kindness
By His righteousness over our arrogance and selfishness
Indeed, blessing our stewardship faithfulness
For Christ-like character of virtuous blessedness.
Our heart testifies about what God has wrought toward us with His cheerful care
By His gladness along our need and welfare
Indeed, brightening our gloominess-scare
For blissful disposition of mirth-filled share.
Our heart testifies about what God has wrought toward us with His great comfort
By His consolation beyond our grief and retort
Indeed, encouraging us from frustration-resort
For revival-flamed commitment of praise-worthy report.
