HEART THAT STAYS IN GOD WHOSE BANNER OVER US IS LOVE
Our heart stays in God Whose banner over us is love midst our desire and need
Which He alone can meet through His supplying deed
For us to live along His contentment-creed---
Indeed, satisfying us with His bounty’s seed and feed.
Our heart stays in God Whose banner over us is love midst our deficiency and weakness
Which He alone can settle through His strengthening righteousness
For us to persevere along His omnipotent mightiness---
Indeed, assisting us through His help’s readiness and steadfastness.
Our heart stays in God Whose banner over us is love midst our foolishness and ignorance
Which He alone can correct through His Word’s ascertaining assurance
For us to learn along His wisdom-endurance---
Indeed, enlightening us upon His truth-deliverance and forbearance.
Our heart stays in God Whose banner over us is love midst our sin and iniquity
Which He alone can cleanse with His transforming purity
For us to walk along His holiness-intensity---
Indeed, purging us by His sanctification’s certainty and authority.
Our heart stays in God Whose banner over us is love midst our disability and limitation
Which He alone can stretch with His empowering restoration
For us to endeavour along His workmanship-perfection---
Indeed, driving us toward His training’s function and fortification.
Our heart stays in God Whose banner over us is love midst our disobedience and impudence
Which He alone can subdue with His humbling prudence
For us to serve along His leadership-residence---
Indeed, empowering us to follow His command’s cadence and providence.
Our heart stays in God Whose banner over us is love midst our pride and motive
Which He alone can reveal with His teaching, Scripturally protective
For us to succeed along His victory-objective---
Indeed, upholding us for His purposes’ directive and incentive.
