HEART THAT SEES THE GLORY OF THE LORD
Our heart sees the glory of the Lord with our faith’s settlement
Along His holiness’ empowerment
By His salvation’s eternal endowment
That granted us life everlasting and heaven-fulfillment.
Our heart sees the glory of the Lord with our faith’s tenacity
Along His forgiveness-certainty
By His Your mercy’s divine authority
That leads us to His will’s sovereignty.
Our heart sees the glory of the Lord with our faith’s optimization
Along His safety for our protection
By His law’s guarding action
That shelters us from idolatry’s abomination.
Our heart sees the glory of the Lord with our faith’s steadfastness
Along His sanctification-cleanliness
By His purification’s perfect worthiness
That clothes us with His garments of righteousness.
Our heart sees the glory of the Lord with our faith’s conquest from sin’s evil
Along His victory-power over the Devil
By His truth’s refining anvil
That strengthens us while we stand morally civil.
Our heart sees the glory of the Lord with our faith’s freedom from idolatry
Along our glad liberty from iniquity’s misery
By His sacrifice’s great mystery
That helps us declare His Gospel story.
Our heart sees the glory of the Lord with our faith’s exercise of prayer-gain
Along our stewardship and servanthood-terrain
By His blessings while we trust Him as the Sovereign
That keeps us labouring in His work that is never vain.
