HEART THAT SEES THE FACE OF GOD BY FAITH

January 11 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 32-34

Key Verse – Genesis 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

HEART THAT SEES THE FACE OF GOD BY FAITH By faith, our heart sees God’s face with His preservation assurance Surely lifting us up with His power’s deliverance So that we can stand upon His pillar of righteousness-endurance While overcoming discouragement along His grace of perseverance. By faith, our heart sees God’s face with His preservation in our journey Surely overtaking us in our feebleness toward ministry-mount that’s stony So that we can stay in His will along His Word more delightful than honey While hotly pursuing after His approval that cannot be paid by money. By faith, our heart sees God’s face with His preservation’s affirmation Surely enveloping us around His grace midst our affliction So that we can meet Him in fellowship’s sweet devotion While casting to Him our cares with trust, despite our limitation. By faith, our heart sees God’s face with His preservation-filled mercy Surely confronting us through His well-dealings’ excellency So that we can show kindness to others with His compassion’s fervency While following Him through His prevailing love’s constancy. By faith, our heart sees God’s face with His preservation gesture Surely warming us with His utmost concern of righteousness-posture So that we can pitch our divine tent before His holiness-pasture While erecting on His truth our prayer-altar of service-venture. By faith, our heart sees God’s face with His preservation certainty Surely calming us midst persecutions’ travail and guilt brought by iniquity So that we can dwell in His peace of contentment’s serenity While submitting ourselves to His reign as our Almighty. By faith, our heart sees God’s face with His preservation enclosure Surely guarding us against worldliness seizure So that we can persevere toward good testimony of holiness-measure While obeying Him while His presence and peace He does assure.
