HEART THAT SEEKS THE LORD WHO MAKES US LIVE
Our heart seeks the Lord Who makes us live along His graciousness
While He provides for our needfulness
With His ready lovingkindness
Which humbles us from pride and selfishness.
Our heart seeks the Lord Who makes us live along His salvation
While He secures our adoption
With His assured redemption
Which seals us from hell and condemnation.
Our heart seeks the Lord Who makes us live along His bounty
While filling up our scarcity
With His presence enriching our spirituality
Which guards us from vain emptiness and poverty.
Our heart seeks the Lord Who makes us live along His contentment
While healing our soul-ailment
With His satisfying fulfillment
Which revives us from weariness and discouragement.
Our heart seeks the Lord Who makes us live along His deliverance
While strengthening our faith-perseverance
With His mighty power’s assurance
Which upholds us from frustration and failure-endurance.
Our heart seeks the Lord Who makes us live along His wisdom
While subduing our ignorance-boredom
With His enlightening truth-freedom
Which leads us from humanistic and worldly kingdom.
Our heart seeks the Lord Who makes us live along His mercy
While disciplining our complacency
With His compassionate clemency
Which protects us from guilt and sin-persistency.
