HEART THAT SEEKS GOD FOR HIS STRENGTHENING
March 24 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Judges 16-18
Key Verse – Judges 16:28 And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.
HEART THAT SEEKS GOD FOR HIS STRENGTHENING
With all our heart, we seek God for His strengthening toward service-investment
As He keeps us in His eternal commitment
So that we can labour with holy contentment
While enjoying His presence-fulfillment.
With all our heart, we seek God for His strengthening toward soulwinning
As He calls us with His great training
So that we can share the Gospel with the lost and sinning
While doing His will for faith-refining.
With all our heart, we seek God for His strengthening toward divine fruitfulness
As He blesses us with His goodness
So that we can bear yields of righteousness
While abiding in His designed productiveness.
With all our heart, we seek God for His strengthening toward life building
As He nurtures us upon His guarding
So that we can help others through His guiding
While staying in His love’s attending.
With all our heart, we seek God for His strengthening toward mercy-declaration
As He secures us in His assured salvation
So that we can minister with Biblical conviction
While testifying about His sacrifice for mankind’s redemption.
With all our heart, we seek God for His strengthening toward deeds of kingdom-working
As He leads us along heavenly trekking
So that we can shine in His light radiantly, not blinking
While submitting to His authority, unto His face blissfully looking.
With all our heart, we seek God for His strengthening toward victorious stewardship
As He drives us forward along ministry-partnership
So that we can enjoy our discipleship midst Scriptural worship
While thanking His love for us in His glorious workmanship.
