HEART THAT SEEKS FOR THE DELIGHT OF THE LORD
Our heart seeks the delight of the Lord with sincerity
Since He upholds our dedication by His security
To dwell in His perfect will’s certainly…
Indeed, we trust Him while resting in His care’s serenity.
Our heart seeks the delight of the Lord with truthfulness
Since He increases our faith by His mightiness
To remain in His Word’s steadfastness…
Indeed, we march for Him along His kingdom’s righteousness.
Our heart seeks the delight of the Lord with His love’s fulfillment
Since He molds our commitment by His devotion-endowment
To grow in His ways’ engagement…
Indeed, we thank Him for His compassion’s bestowment.
Our heart seeks the delight of the Lord with His victory
Since He leads our steps by His guidance of no worry
To succeed under His watchfulness’ territory…
Indeed, we triumph in Him toward His name’s glory.
Our heart seeks the delight of the Lord with His direction
Since He blesses our diligence by His favoured action
To labour in His work’s great commission of assured fuition…
Indeed, we go forward through Him along His order’s instruction.
Our heart seeks the delight of the Lord with His prodding
Since He accepts our offerings with sacrifice-binding
To enjoy in His worship’s feeding…
Indeed, we pray to Him for His goodness’ attending.
Our heart seeks the delight of the Lord with His grace
Since He cheers for our diligence in the Christian race
To persist along His Scriptures brace…
Indeed, we praise Him, conquering unbelief’s trace.
