HEART THAT PRAYS UNTO THE LORD WHO ANSWERS US
Our heart prays unto the Lord Who answers us with His provision
Full of His salvation’s fruition
Always plenty midst poverty’s affliction
Surely confirming to us His granted genuine redemption.
Our heart prays unto the Lord Who answers us with His contentment
Full of His nurture’s nourishment
Always abundant midst scarcity’s entrapment
Surely affirming to us His reliable calling engagement.
Our heart prays unto the Lord Who answers us with His blessing
Full of His riches’ progressing
Always profitable midst bankruptcy’s oppressing
Surely proving to us His endowed spiritual enforcing.
Our heart prays unto the Lord Who answers us with His mercy
Full of His graciousness’ consistency
Always available midst infirmity’s potency
Surely showing to us His promised help’s urgency.
Our heart prays unto the Lord Who answers us with His goodness
Full of His care’s kindness
Always excellent midst hatred’s awfulness
Surely bringing to us His constant assistance-gentleness.
Our heart prays unto the Lord Who answers us with His presence so grand
Full of His compassion’s brand
Always powerful midst worldliness’ demand
Surely endearing us with His bestowed soulwinning command.
Our heart prays unto the Lord Who answers us with His leadership
Full of His greatness’ headship
Always sovereign midst pride’s partnership
Surely guiding us toward His rewarding entrusted stewardship.
