HEART THAT PRAISES GOD WHO IS BLESSED
Our heart praises God Who is blessed, attending to our beseeching
Which we ask with full soul-searching
Indeed, believing His gracious reaching
For He loves us beyond grace-entrenching.
Our heart praises God Who is blessed, listening to our confession
Which we utter with sincere devotion against confusion
Indeed, desiring His forgiveness of great compassion
For He pardons us beyond our sin and transgression.
Our heart praises God Who is blessed, considering our repentance
Which we say with humble stance
Indeed, begging for His sanctifying assistance
For He regards us beyond arrogance-resistance.
Our heart praises God Who is blessed, hearing our cry for mercy
Which we declare with passionate fervency
Indeed, imploring for His gracious clemency
For He leads us beyond progress-liability.
Our heart praises God Who is blessed, seeking our prayer of revival
Which we yearn with spiritual upheaval
Indeed, relying on His faithful provision-arrival
For He blesses us beyond existence-survival.
Our heart praises God Who is blessed, searching our motive
Which we present to Him, humbly assertive
Indeed, acknowledging His Scriptural directive
For He teaches us beyond arrogance that is defective.
Our heart praises God Who is blessed, supplying our need
Which we entrust to Him with our supplication-creed
Indeed, surrendering to His authority as He does lead
For He directs us well, beyond confusion-breed.
