HEART THAT PRAISES GOD FOR HE IS GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL
Our heart praises God Who is gracious and merciful, inviting us with His calling
According to His purpose-sealing
Despite our unworthiness in fulfilling
Still, He enables us to be willing.
Our heart praises God Who is gracious and merciful, inspiring us by His commanding
According to His definite instruction-feeding
Despite our incapacity in heeding
Still, He drives us by His prodding.
Our heart praises God Who is gracious and merciful, helping us through His charging
According to His precious Word always encouraging
Despite our weakness in faith-plunging
Still, He pushes us toward deeds that are life-changing.
Our heart praises God Who is gracious and merciful, moving us along His preaching
According to His immutable precepts of valuable teaching
Despite our shyness in beseeching
Still, He comes to us with His mercies’ reaching.
Our heart praises God Who is gracious and merciful, pouring unto us His blessing
According to His bountiful provisions indeed unceasing
Despite our weariness in pressing
Still, He pulls us to strive for good works’ increasing.
Our heart praises God Who is gracious and merciful, cheering us with His exhorting
According to His divine plan with heavenly profiting
Despite our frustrations in goal-setting
Still, He lets us stay in His will of blissful worship-meeting.
Our heart praises God Who is gracious and merciful, enclosing us within His preserving
According to His compassionate care along His forgiving
Despite our downfalls in times of proving
Still, He upholds us so that we can continue serving.
