HEART THAT PLEADS TO GOD FOR HIS MERCY
Our heart pleads to God for His mercy that is reigning with His goodness
Fully rejoicing our souls against bitterness
For us to praise Him midst challenges’ heaviness
Along His blissful gladness we can experience of contentment’s fullness.
Our heart pleads to God for His mercy that is declaring His name
Fully forgiving our sins out of repentance and genuine share
For us to approach Him, sanctified from guilt’s blame
Along His wondrous ways we can claim.
Our heart pleads to God for His mercy that is presenting His compassion
Fully warming our spirituality against coldness of carnal perversion
For us to love Him with sincere devotion by heavenly vision
Along His helpful concern we can recognize with His daily provision.
Our heart pleads to God for His mercy that is exalting His lordship
Fully calling for our submission to His leadership
For us to surrender to Him for acceptable worship
Along His bestowed relationship within His welcoming fellowship.
Our heart pleads to God for His mercy that is testifying about His Word’s fervency
Fully strengthening our faith against doctrinal complacency
For us to serve Him with devotion’s persistency
Along His upholding guidance we can depend on for its consistency.
Our heart pleads to God for His mercy that is showing His grace
Fully enabling our being to face every ministry’s challenging phase
For us to glorify Him upon His Word’s truth-brace
Along His empowering might we can cling to in running the Christian race.
Our heart pleads to God for His mercy that is championing His wisdom
Fully illumining our minds about Biblical stewardship in His kingdom
For us to serve Him against vain boredom
Along His steadfast authority we can rely on with great commission’s freedom.
