Key Verse – Numbers 28:6 It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in mount Sinai for a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD.
HEART THAT PERSISTS TO SACRIFICE UNTO THE LORD
Our heart persists to sacrifice unto the Lord by His love’s gripping
Despite our grief due to joy-stripping
He remembers us with our repentant weeping
Always responding to us along prayer-reaping.
Our heart persists to sacrifice unto the Lord by His graciousness
Despite our complaints due to enviousness
He answers us with His peace-calmness
Always attending to us along worship’s holiness.
Our heart persists to sacrifice unto the Lord by His glory
Despite our sadness due to worry
He revives us with His Gospel story
Always rescuing us along forgiveness-victory.
Our heart persists to sacrifice unto the Lord by His salvation
Despite our sorrow due to failure-caused reaction
He grants us ready restoration
Always governing us along Bible-direction.
Our heart persists to sacrifice unto the Lord by His light
Despite our struggles due to unbelief’s blight
He establishes us upon His truth and right
Always exhorting us along Scripture’s might.
Our heart persists to sacrifice unto the Lord by His mercy
Despite our debility due to inefficiency
He provides us with His sufficiency
Always perfecting us along His ministry’s proficiency.
Our heart persists to sacrifice unto the Lord by His leadership
Despite our negligence due to our poor stewardship
He helps us with His partnership
Always blessing us along His goodness for our discipleship.
