Key Verse – Ezekiel 5:13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
HEART THAT KNOWS THE ZEAL OF THE LORD
Our heart knows the zeal of the Lord by His grace
As He shows us His way along the Christian race
So that we can walk with righteousness’ pace
While avoiding worldly maze of evil case.
Our heart knows the zeal of the Lord by His wisdom
As He guides us toward His eternal kingdom
So that we can enjoy salvation’s freedom
While overcoming complacent laxity of idle boredom.
Our heart knows the zeal of the Lord by His leadership
As He trains us for His effective direction in stewardship
So that we can serve well around prayer’s fellowship
While following biblical principles of perfect workmanship.
Our heart knows the zeal of the Lord by His mercy
As He humbles us through His rebuking clemency
So that we can appreciate His satisfaction’s sufficiency
While repenting from obvious arrogance of stubborn inconsistency.
Our heart knows the zeal of the Lord by His justice
As He disciplines us with His chastisement’s notice
So that we can perform along Scriptures’ treatise
While acknowledging divine judgment of holy practice.
Our heart knows the zeal of the Lord by His commandment
As He directs us toward His will for character development
So that we can obey and labor with involvement’s commitment
While progressing for fruitful production of eternal investment.
Our heart knows the zeal of the Lord by His instruction
As He teaches us around His Word for genuine transformation
So that we can fulfill duties despite temptation’s persecution
While accomplishing entrusted roles with worshipful jubilation.
