HEART THAT KEEPS THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD
Our heart keeps the commandments of God with His holiness
According to His justifying righteousness
Despite our tendency toward sinfulness
Since He forgives us of confessed filthiness.
Our heart keeps the commandments of God with His perfection
According to His cleansing sanctification
Despite our weakness toward corruption
Since He corrects us from committed abomination.
Our heart keeps the commandments of God with His wisdom
According to His teaching freedom
Despite our craving toward stardom
Since He guards us against attacking boredom.
Our heart keeps the commandments of God with His light
According to His illumining insight
Despite our vision-deficiency toward blinking vanity-delight
Since He directs us, checking any jeopardizing perspective-blight.
Our heart keeps the commandments of God with His deliverance
According to His upholding salvation-assurance
Despite our pride toward selfishness-annoyance
Since He shields us against gripping carnal arrogance.
Our heart keeps the commandments of God with His leadership
According to His loving redemption-relationship
Despite our compromise toward worldly partnership
Since He makes us avoid alluring vain virtual friendship.
Our heart keeps the commandments of God with His mercy
According to His faith-anchoring fervency
Despite our doubts toward stewardship-leniency
Since He helps us overcome terrifying unbelief-persistency.
