HEART THAT KEEPS THE CHARGE OF THE LORD
Our heart keeps the charge of the Lord along our sincere seeking
According to His vision’s working
While He opens our eyes from blindness of sin-lurking
For us to behold His truth that deceit is blocking.
Our heart keeps the charge of the Lord along our diligent hands
According to His guiding commands
While He smites our slothfulness of murmuring demands
For us to labour well in His service-lands.
Our heart keeps the charge of the Lord along our devout zealousness
According to His inspiration’s goodness
While He fires-up our dedication-earnestness
For us to bear fruits of ministry-effectiveness.
Our heart keeps the charge of the Lord along our godly zeal
According to His principled lessons always right and real
While He upholds our conviction to resist perversions’ deal
For us to stay in Your will of Scriptural seal.
Our heart keeps the charge of the Lord along our steadfast spirituality
According to His strength’s stability
While He empowers our resolutions toward eternity
For us to prosper in His work of life-changing opportunity.
Our heart keeps the charge of the Lord along our yielded soul
According to His mercy and compassion that make us whole
While He molds our faith in performing His assigned role
For us to fulfill our part in His appointed goal.
Our heart keeps the charge of the Lord along our grateful stewardship
According to His instruction in our discipleship
While He harnesses our servanthood by His workmanship
For us to live for Him with joyful fellowship in our partnership.
