HEART THAT IS NOT SLACK TO POSSESS THE PROMISES OF GOD
Our heart is not slack to possess the promises of God with His bread-abundance
Despite our slothfulness’ annoyance---
We repent from indolence-endurance
Truly needful for His forgiveness-assurance.
Our heart is not slack to possess the promises of God with His health-wellness
Despite our ailment-sickness---
We repent from negligence-stubbornness
Truly eager for His healing-wholeness.
Our heart is not slack to possess the promises of God with His grace-sufficiency
Despite our commitment’s deficiency---
We repent from murmuring persistency
Truly watchful for His patience and mercy.
Our heart is not slack to possess the promises of God with His goodness-satisfaction
Despite our disobedient action---
We repent from waywardness-direction
Truly desirous for His favour and protection.
Our heart is not slack to possess the promises of God with His sustenance-nourishment
Despite our worldliness’ involvement---
We repent from vanity-enticement
Truly prayerful for His wisdom’s endowment.
Our heart is not slack to possess the promises of God with His love-nurturing
Despite our bitterness’ gesturing---
We repent from bitterness-torturing
Truly prepared for His training and rearing.
Our heart is not slack to possess the promises of God with His grace-delight
Despite our weariness because of lack of prayerfulness’ plight---
We repent from arrogance and selfishness-blight
Truly humbled for His revival light.
