HEART THAT IS NOT DISMAYED AS THE LORD ALWAYS COMFORTS
Our heart is not dismayed as the Lord comforts us…
Toward virtuous transformation by His purpose’s foundation
Against adversary’s protest and opposition
Amidst evil occurrences bringing persecution
Along our devotion to Him with sincere dedication.
Our heart is not dismayed as the Lord comforts us…
Toward earnest prayerfulness by His steadfastness
Against unbelief’s attacks and destructiveness
Amidst mocking skepticism of humanism’s godlessness
Along our dependence in Him with full submissiveness.
Our heart is not dismayed as the Lord comforts us…
Toward ministry-involvement by His kingdom-advancement
Against worldliness’ invitation for monetary betterment
Amidst material comforts offered by earthly investment
Along our desire for Him with bliss-filled contentment.
Our heart is not dismayed as the Lord comforts us…
Toward discipleship certainty by His sovereignty
Against ecology’s disaster and calamity
Amidst economic crises around financial difficulty
Along our delight in His assured security.
Our heart is not dismayed as the Lord comforts us…
Toward holiness’ radiance by His guidance
Against waywardness’ control and ignorance
Amidst intellectual assistance, towering in arrogance
Along our duty from Him, entrusted with divine endurance.
Our heart is not dismayed as the Lord comforts us…
Toward becoming a Gospel seed-sower by His power
Against compromises’ failure and doubt-shower
Amidst weak conviction, bringing His standards lower
Along our direction to His path of blooming testimony’s flower.

Toward soulwinning delight by His might
Against slothfulness’ fight and laziness-blight
Amidst varied excuses with negligent height
Along our commitment to lead others for heavenly flight.
