HEART THAT IS DEVOTED TO DO WHAT THE LORD COMMANDS
Our heart is devoted to do what the Lord commands us through His graciousness
Against lack of commitment devoid of peacefulness
By His tranquility’s cheerfulness and serenity’s gladness
Letting us love Him always with dedication’s earnestness.
Our heart is devoted to do what the Lord commands us through His authority
Against failing of eyes filled with vanity’s obscurity
By His vision’s certainty and watchfulness’ security
Letting us follow Him always with submission’s sincerity.
Our heart is devoted to do what the Lord commands us through His compassion
Against sorrow of mind because of confusion
By His truth’s exhortation and wisdom’s instruction
Letting us trust Him always with delighted determination.
Our heart is devoted to do what the Lord commands us through His assurance
Against fear of soul brought by future-related ignorance
By His counsel’s assertion and kindness’ perseverance
Letting us cleave to Him always with faith’s endurance.
Our heart is devoted to do what the Lord commands us through His leadership
Against attack of doubts due to unbelief’s dictatorship
By His direction’s guidance and faith’s authorship
Letting us worship Him always with respect’s fellowship.
Our heart is devoted to do what the Lord commands us through His blessings
Against feelings of ungratefulness due to perceived cursings
By His care’s proddings and comfort’s pressings
Letting us live for Him always with Scriptures’ enforcings.
Our heart is devoted to do what the Lord commands us through His grace
Against insecurity of carnality along prideful ways
By His meekness’ example of no haughtiness’ trace
Letting us surrender to Him always with His strength to win the race.
