HEART THAT IS BRIGHTENED BY THE GLORY OF THE LORD

September 1 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Ezekiel 9-12

Key Verse – Ezekiel 10:4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory.

HEART THAT IS BRIGHTENED BY THE GLORY OF THE LORD Our heart is brightened by the glory of the Lord in our trouble Midst doubt-driven problem, causing fright-tremble… His goodness has reached out to us from sin-rubble Enabling us to be spiritually stable. Our heart is brightened by the glory of the Lord in our adversity Midst pride’s destruction, bringing haughtiness-calamity… His mercy has visited us from transgression and iniquity Enabling us to be prayerfully mighty. Our heart is brightened by the glory of the Lord in our judgment Midst filthiness-prevalence, poisoning corruption-involvement… His love has attended to us against idolatry’s indictment Enabling us to be truly free from wrath’s torment. Our heart is brightened by the glory of the Lord in our testing Midst weakness’ attack, intensifying doubt-venting… His faithfulness has upheld us from discouragement-fainting Enabling us to be constantly depending on Him, always trusting. Our heart is brightened by the glory of the Lord in our crises Midst discontentment’s complaints, seeking satisfaction-forces… His provision has filled us from scarcity-curses Enabling us to be joyfully grateful with His sufficiency that blesses. Our heart is brightened by the glory of the Lord in our confusion Midst anxiety’s fatigue, fortifying foolishness-permission… His truth has secured us against unbelief’s intrusion Enabling us to be firmly settled in His wisdom for our learning session. Our heart is brightened by the glory of the Lord in our loneliness Midst misery’s sickness, drowning health-wellness… His gladness has cheered us up from desolation-madness Enabling us to be victoriously worshipful with peacefulness.
