HEART THAT HUMBLES BEFORE THE LORD FROM BEING LIFTED UP
Our heart humbles before the Lord from being lifted up…
…toward eternal soul-salvation
From false doctrine’s instruction
For us to ascend for heavenly direction
And be purposeful in His will of holiness-action.
Our heart humbles before the Lord from being lifted up…
…toward salvation-assurance
From doubt-filled mentality’s ignorance
For us to possess truthful insurance
And be wise with His Scriptural perseverance.
Our heart humbles before the Lord from being lifted up…
… toward assurance-commitment
From temporal worldliness’ involvement
For us to abide in godly contentment
And be secure with His divine endearment.
Our heart humbles before the Lord from being lifted up…
…toward salvation-assurance commitment-fervency
From weak conviction’s deficiency
For us to pursue after righteous consistency
And be dedicated to His work with His gracious mercy.
Our heart humbles before the Lord from being lifted up…
…toward fervency-steadfastness
From grievous unbelief’s fruitlessness
For us to labour against slothfulness-caused unproductiveness
And be diligent with His compassionate faithfulness.
Our heart humbles before the Lord from being lifted up…
…toward steadfastness-victory
From weariness causing anxiety and worry
For us to serve Him while sharing His Gospel story
And be persistent in advancing His kingdom’s territory.
Our heart humbles before the Lord from being lifted up…
…toward victory-worship
From vain worldliness’ friendship
For us to praise Him along joyful fellowship
And be grateful with His offered partnership in our stewardship.
