HEART THAT HEARS THE WISDOM OF GOD
Our heart hears the wisdom of God amidst His grace
With our eternal redemption in running life’s race
Since He strengthens us through HIs might’s brace
Never failing to help us midst afflictions’ trace.
Our heart hears the wisdom of God amidst His holiness
With our salvation-propped faith to walk along His righteousness
Since He sanctifies us by His truthfulness
Never abandoning us to wallow in sinfulness.
Our heart hears the wisdom of God amidst His deliverance
With our heaven-bound future propelled by His assurance
Since He upholds us to stay courageous despite fear’s appearance
Never forsaking us to face challenges alone through His forbearance.
Our heart hears the wisdom of God amidst His preservation
With our ransomed soul rejoicing in His granted regeneration
Since He keeps us around His will’s protection
Never neglecting us to suffer grievous persecution.
Our heart hears the wisdom of God amidst His leadership
With our blissful spirit to be fruitful in our stewardship
Since He guides us around His fellowship
Never hurting us to lament in loneliness offered by worldly friendship.
Our heart hears the wisdom of God amidst His reproving
With our biblical conviction that honours His standards’ paving
Since He teaches us principles worth-having
Never insulting us to lose confidence in all-out sacrificial giving.
Our heart hears the wisdom of God amidst His mercy
With our sincere repentance against laxity and leniency
Since He disciplines us along His Scriptural counsel’s fervency
Never condoning us, but admonishing us for virtuous service-persistency.
