HEART THAT GLORIFIES GOD WHO EMPOWERS US
October 5 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Matthew 9-10
Key Verse – Matthew 9:8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had given such power unto men.
HEART THAT GLORIFIES GOD WHO EMPOWERS US
Our heart glorifies God Who empowers us toward growth-maturity
Whenever we obey His supreme authority
That overcomes troublesome anxiety
As we joyously stay in His will’s sovereignty.
Our heart glorifies God Who empowers us toward worship-delight
Whenever we plead for His illuminating might
That sanctifies confessed arrogance-height
As we prayerfully strive for His holiness-approval light.
Our heart glorifies God Who empowers us toward good-works’ fruition
Whenever we choose His truthful way along His direction
That smites attacking persecution
As we humbly learn from His wisdom’s instruction.
Our heart glorifies God Who empowers us toward generosity-bountifulness
Whenever we beg for His loving kindness
That subdues intervening doubtfulness
As we wholeheartedly rely on His promises’ trustworthiness.
Our heart glorifies God Who empowers us toward kingdom advancement
Whenever we seek for His mighty enablement
That vanquishes afflicting discouragement
As we serenely cling to His commitment’s fulfillment.
Our heart glorifies God Who empowers us toward ministry-victory
Whenever we work for His honourable glory
That conquers vexatious disobedience-caused misery
As we obediently proclaim His Gospel’s story.
Our heart glorifies God Who empowers us toward servant-leadership
Whenever we comply to His productive workmanship
That fortifies weakening stewardship
As we gladly rejoice in His relationship’s fellowship.
