HEART THAT DEPENDS ON THE LORD FOR HIS DELIVERANCE
Our heart depends on the Lord to deliver us from our carnality
Enabling us to fight over lusts’ iniquity
By His power so mighty
Letting us overcome vanity’s infirmity.
Our heart depends on the Lord to deliver us from our unbelief
Enabling us to triumph over faithlessness’ grief
By His truth of assurance chief
Letting us subdue joyfulness’ thief.
Our heart depends on the Lord to deliver us from our haughtiness
Enabling us to succeed over pride’s destructiveness
By His example of humility and meekness
Letting us submit with willingness.
Our heart depends on the Lord to deliver us from our materialism
Enabling us to profit over earthly gains’ imperialism
By His wealth eternal beyond humanism’s intellectualism
Letting us endeavour toward contentment’s optimism.
Our heart depends on the Lord to deliver us from our jealousy
Enabling us to tread over envy’s fervency
By His gracious mercy and loving clemency
Letting us pursue after godly satisfaction’s persistency.
Our heart depends on the Lord to deliver us from our indolence
Enabling us to serve over convenience and comfort’s insolence
By His propelling instruction of inspiration-prevalence
Letting us practice diligence with weariness’ silence.
Our heart depends on the Lord to deliver us from our doubt
Enabling us to stay in His will in accordance to Scriptures’ route
By His teaching doctrine in our stewardship against deceit’s clout
Letting us enjoy our ministry involvement without pout.
