HEART THAT DECLARES THE WORK OF THE LORD OUR GOD
Our heart declares the work of the Lord our God…
Truly saving us from hell’s fire
By His love that pulls our soul against evil mire
Making us assured of heaven when we physically expire
Not doubting His truths which never retire.
Our heart declares the work of the Lord our God…
Truly freeing us from sin’s penalty
By His grace that forgives our iniquity
Making us cleansed against idolatrous impurity
Not staining His goodness with our insecurity.
Our heart declares the work of the Lord our God…
Truly guarding us from Satan’s destruction
By His power that protects our redemption
Making us guarded toward righteousness’ intensification
Not defying His instructions’ declaration.
Our heart declares the work of the Lord our God…
Truly shielding us from worldliness’ blight
By His sanctification that purifies us to enjoy His light
Making us settled unto holy works’ plight
Not abandoning His pardon delight.
Our heart declares the work of the Lord our God…
Truly rescuing us from selfishness’ entrapment
By His guidance that directs our choice toward His fulfillment
Making us satisfied in virtuous contentment
Not disobeying His commandment.
Our heart declares the work of the Lord our God…
Truly extricating us from transgression’s enclosure
By His deliverance that upholds our testimony against pressure
Making us enriched with divine treasure
Not forgetting His edifying worship pleasure.
Our heart declares the work of the Lord our God…
Truly unchaining us from religion’s bondage
By His Word that illumines our mind against idolatry’s damage
Making us rescued toward Scriptural freedom advantage
Not limiting His blessing-package.
