HEART THAT CRIES TO GOD WITH TRUST
Our heart cries to God with trust in our anxiety-sigh
Especially when we are distressed because of being spiritually dry
And struggling while frustration-losses pry…
We beg that He helps us midst hardships as to Him we draw nigh.
Our heart cries to God with trust in our self-pity
Especially when we are earnest to cling to His loving security
And submitting ourselves to His truth’s authority…
We ask that He encloses us within His fellowship’s certainty.
Our heart cries to God with trust in our spiritual desire
Especially when we are longing that in His care we retire
And seeking for His revival fire…
We beseech that He pulls us from worldliness’ mire with grace He does require.
Our heart cries to God with trust in our supplication against guilt-oppression
Especially when we are needy for His pardon and comfort’s provision
And staying in His will’s instruction along His compassion…
We entreat that He guards us in every decision by His counselling session.
Our heart cries to God with trust in our difficulties
Especially when we are weary due to challenging calamities
And searching for answers midst falsities…
We pray that He assures us His victory according to His Word’s verities.
Our heart cries to God with trust in our commitment
Especially when we are determined to increase our heavenly investment
And stretching our faith in ministry involvement…
We believe that He strengthens us along His empowerment.
Our heart cries to God with trust in our sincere worship
Especially when we are dedicated in our faithful stewardship
And doing our best toward accomplishing triumphant discipleship…
We know that He upholds us by His leadership around His partnership.
